WHAT IS GOD PARTICLE ?

God particle term is exaggerated by the mainstream media which is actually known as higgs boson particle which is a elementary particle in standard model of physics particle  . 

 

This concept of higgs boson particle was introduced by Peter Ware Higgs for understanding of mass of subatomic particle , more generally peoples mistaken  higgs particle's as they are responsible for mass of particle but this notion is completely wrong that is not higgs particle which is responsible for mass of particles that is interaction of elementary particle's with higgs field which is responsible for mass of the object . 

HOW THIS WORKS - there are severe fields are present in the universe in all direction and everywhere like electric field , magnetic field , quark field , gravitational field etc  . and when we supply energy to this field's they produce  particles  and the particle which is formed due to energy gain of higgs field is known as Higgs particle or God particle .

How higgs field works - according to this concept all elementary particle's are  mass less just like Photon but interaction with higgs field gives them mass .

Higgs field mechanism - so the particles remains mass less before entering in to higgs field but after entering in to higgs field some particle which interact with higgs field more gets more mass and the particle which interacts less gets lesser mass , it is like if some famous personality walks around the road will take more time to cross it compare to those which are not that well known , because  in first case famous person will need more time due to public affection toward him which will make him to do more effort's to cross  road just like this in particle's case this affection of field to it will ultimately increases its mass & we know more the mass will be lesser the acceleration . 

The discovery of higgs field was discovered in large hydron collider in 2012 , and  on December 10, 2013, two of the physicists, peter higgs and francois englert was awarded by  the Noble prize of physics for their theoretical predictions about higgs field and higgs particle . 

So why God particle name is famous for higgs particle/field -  the reason is because of higgs field we all have mass without mass every particle will be travelling at the speed of light just like photon which is mass less elementary particle and the universe which are we seeing today could been never existed .
