STEPHEN HAWKING

Stephen hawking is a renowned name not for only  scientific community but also for whole world , i always blamed my self not to be lived in that era when GREAT SCIENTIST'S like Newton and Einstein was part of but at the  same time  i always feel proud of when i think that i lived in Stephen Hawking's AGE . 

 

Stephen hawking is not only a name of a great scientist it is a name of great journey to become a great journey it has to be difficult , struggling and full of adventure . well Stephen born on 8th January 1942 exactly 300 years later Galileo , some peoples have strong beliefs that Galileo was reborn as Stephen hawking again . 

 

Although he developed interest about mathematics  his father wanted him to study medicine's because there was few Jobs's for mathematics graduate's at that time and he also wanted him to join oxford university but there was not possible to learn mathematics at that time too so he choose physics and chemistry to study .  

 

He gained his PhD degree with his thesis of "properties  of expanding universe"  in 1965 ,he won Adams prize for his essay on "Singularities and the Geometry of Space-time" he wrote his first academic book The Large Scale Structure of Space-Time working as research assistant at DAMTP(Department of applied mathematics and theoretical physics) in 1973 . 

 

After that he was elected for fellow of the royal society in (1974) , afterwards doing extremely well in his career  he was elected for the lucasian professor of mathematics (1979-2009) , The position itself has an history of being honored by some famous intellectual personalities like Isaac newton . 

 

Stephen hawking worked specially to enhance understanding of laws which regulates our universe ,  he showed in his work that how special relativity starts with THEORY OF BIG BANG &  end's with the BLACK HOLE , he also stated that its necessary to unify general theory of relativity to quantum theory, which is known as THEORY OF EVERYTHING .

 

He had credit of discovery of Hawking's radiation which is a consequence of this unification of theories which determines black hole should emits mass through radiation .

 

Shortly after his 21 birthday he was suffered by motor neuron disease in (1963) . he was  forced to bound  to wheel chair and computerized voice system due to his disease but he never lost his hope ever and struggled for his life  . doctors told him that his life expectancy is only 2 years at his age of 21 but he never  gave up and died in 14 march 2018 at the age of 76 , today he is not with us but i am sure his courageous journey of life will encourage million's of youth's of future generation .
